Limb-O
circuit is divided by a flexible septum running the length
of the tube. Weight Limb-O weighs 25% less than traditional
two-limb circuits which reduces torque on the patients
airway.
Limb-O effectively
transfers heat from the expiratory to the inspiratory side
of the circuit. Increased thermal efficiency rates during
surgery keeps gases warm and body temperature normothermic.
Less weight means less torque on the ET tube and less plastic
is being used. Decreased compliance helps lead to accurate
delivered volume. Accomplish more with less as the single
limb design services pediatric through adult patients.
Compliant
Limb-Os low compliance tubing allows for delivery
of a more accurate tidal volume.
Heat
Loss Limb-Os common wall/septum separating inspiratory
and expiratory lumens permits heat transfer from warm exhaled
gasses.The innovative streamlined design of the Limb-O
makes it the ideal breathing circuit for ventilation.
Limb-O
offers versatility with this single limb circuit when used
as a transport circuit and also in the OR.

The
Disposable BiPAP (BPC72FS & BPC72FS-NPL) Circuit is
used in conjunction with a BiPAP (Bi-Level Positive Airway
Pressure) Machine.
The
BiPAP machine provides air at suitable pressure and flow
rates for patient ventilation assistance. BiPAP is intended
to augment patient breathing in those patients with spontaneous
respirations.
It
is not to be used as a life support ventilator circuit.
The BiPAP circuit is connected to the BiPAP machine and
consists of smooth bore tubing, optional pressure line,
bacterial / viral filter and exhalation valve / exhaust
vent. A mask is attached to the exhalation valve and then
attached to the patient.
